Curaro by V Canto, a perfume for men and women
Curare is known not only as a highly effective poison, but also as a very powerful anesthetic and hypnotic agent, so much so that it is still used today in various medical and scientific applications. Through superficial administration in very small doses, for example simply pricking her victim’s hand with a small pin or inducing, as a gesture of gallantry or true submission, a kiss upon her famous ring, Lucrezia managed to bewitch and hypnotize her prey, forcing them to then bend to her fatal will because they had fallen prey to her hypnosis.
With the same persuasive and hypnotic power as curare, this perfume knows how to conquer from the very first moment and carry whoever wears it to the top of the royal staircase. The fragrance opens with a bold and daring acrobatic feat, where the woody notes of Patchouli emerge, supported by the seduction of Jasmine and White Iris flowers, placed upon the fleshy petals of Magnolia, in an innovative and captivating artistic balance that resonates at the heart of the fragrance. There we find a splendid Rose Absolute wrapped in sweet Amyris Sandalwood, while in the distance the counterpoint of Tonka Bean echoes with smoky Vetiver and strong Indian Oud, the latter sweetened with Cinnamon Berries.
The whole creation rests its foundations on an opulent and strong structure, with a richness of vibrations and harmonies capable of guaranteeing endless reverberations and echoes. Sweet cooked sugar Caramel embraces precious Cambodian Oud and Red Patchouli, expressing its graceful lyricism, above all thanks to the counter-melody of Vanilla Absolute blended with priceless Orris. Finally, the lasting power of cedarwood and benzoin gives extraordinary, incredible longevity to the entire work.
The royal touch of seduction in a drop of hypnotic perfume.
